I have been living here for 2years and a half and I still see this area very undeveloped despite other areas of Amsterdam.
1. It is difficult to reach this island: very low transportation or most of the time no operating.
.2 I wouldn’t need so much transportation if most of the amenities would be in the island.
Please open more supermarkets cause the small AH is frequently out of primary needs like toilet paper.
.3 develop more social gathering area like restaurants and bar. It will be nice to have a close good restaurant or brunch café for weekends mornings by enjoying the calmness of this suburb.
. 4 small shopping center: have ACTION, BLOKKER, HEMA, bike repair, clothes shops, plant shop etc
I was thinking to develop all these ideas in the new area sluisbuurt or also in front of the skate park.
I think it will benefit any range of people from 5-60 years old
I think my idea can help this neighborhood for its development. It's a really good area but not enough used at his maximum potential.
I am in my 30s and I thought many times to move out because of this. It's too empty and lack of activities. It really needs a small change to become a great area.
